A nova versão, entitulada Somos El Mundo, já foi traduzida e tem o avalo de Lionel Ritchie (escritor original). A gravação será feita na próxima 6ª Feira e contará com estrelas como Ricky Martin, Paulina Rubio, Enrique Iglesias, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Marc Anthony, Jon Secada e claro Gloria Estefan. Talvez outros se juntarão... Agora é esperar para ouvir, parece que promete.

Yep! Gloria Estefan and her husband, Emilio, are going to adapt and re-record We Are The World in spanish! The purpose will be the same, help the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. The new version, titled Somos El Mundo, has been already translated and has Lionel Ritchie's (original writer) sign of approval.
