And The Hadley St. Dreams.

Back in April I posted that there were rumours about Solange Knowles being dropped by her record label due to poor sales of her album 'Sol-Angel And The Hadley St. Dreams'. Writing on Twitter, Solange stated she was NOT released from Geffen/Interscope. Even reps from Geffen/Interscope denied such rumours. Now the singer, via twitter again, announced she was leaving her record label to continue her path in a more independent platform. Fans shouldn't worry because she'll continue her music career! :)

Here you have what she wrote:

"Although it's been a wonderful journey & experience at Interscope Records, after truly recognizing what's important to ME as an artist... I decided it was time for me to continue my path on a more independent platform. I thank Ron and Jimmy for believing in me as an artist and supporting my journey...and have nothing but respect for the Interscope family. I'm excited about continuing to dive in, experiment and creating music and art with no boundaries, fears or expectations. Gonna be fun folks."
