Jens Kuross
LA-based artist Jens Kuross has shared his brand new track I Only Ever Loved Your Ghost – the first offering from volume 1 of his 3-volume album ‘Art! at the expense of mental health’ due for release throughout 2018. The track follows his announcement last week of his London headline show at Servant Jazz Quarters on April 11th.

Wow guys! I am in love with this song! It's his most raw and mesmerizing track yet. I'm a sucker for piano-based melodies and warm, emotional vocals! With his haunting vocal fully exposed, his beautiful lyrics and equally captivating melody will not fail to burrow their way into your inner consciousness and stay there. Stream it below!

Jens expands on ‘'Art! at the expense of mental health’:
I suppose I wanted a title for the album that was as devoid of poetry as I could manage.  I'm really not interested in trying to sell anything I do or create as particularly elegant or sexy and I like a title that reflects that.  Even though I'm out to write beautiful and sophisticated music, I'm so flawed, and my process is such a struggle, that some elegant, mellifluous tittle would just seem dishonest.  So the sentiment, while perhaps a little hyperbolic, feels right on the money from a creator's perspective.  And also, if you live in the trenches of this business long enough it becomes apparent what a steep cost artists can sometimes pay for a little honest creativity.
Keen to start playing his new music live where he’s always excelled, Jens will head out as main support to Rhye on his upcoming UK & EU tour. This will run across the end of March and into early April, taking in shows at London’s Heaven and KOKO.

He will then play his own headline show at London’s Servant Jazz Quarters on April 11th – tickets for which are available HERE.
