Solomon Grey reveal their ‘Wonderful World’ video
Solomon Grey have revealed a touching video for their new single Wonderful World from their new  album Human Music, set to come out this Friday, February 16th! The music video was shot and directed by acclaimed Irish photographer and film maker Niall O’Brien. Over the course of four months Niall documented the lives of people living on the Bascom Avenue, San Jose, California. The resulting film is the real-life love story of Dana and Blake. Watch it below!

The filming of the couple began when Niall found Blake sleeping rough in the alleyway below his apartment and he took Blake for breakfast,
There was an agenda as I’m always looking for a story. But we clicked, he was a really interesting man with a lot to say and a complex backstory.
Niall then began documenting Blake’s life with his partner Dana over several months filming and taking photographs. On return to London Niall had been looking for an outlet for the vast amount of footage he had amassed when he was in touch with Solomon Grey about treating for Wonderful World.
It was like a kick in the head. The footage I had was so precious I never anticipated a promo but after understanding and listening to the beautiful track, I know it would fit.
Niall’s powerful footage instantly resonated with both Wilson and Kingston’s concept behind the song. Wonderful World was written by singer Joe Wilson during the time his mother was diagnosed with a terminal illness (read the backstory here), in his words
Wonderful World is ultimately a song about hope and finding light in the darkest of situations.  It’s about the celebration of a relationship and also deep, strong happiness within a sad frame. The film and the song tell the same story although at first glance they couldn’t be further apart from each other.
Wonderful World, is taken from new record Human Music released on February 16th on Mercury KX.
