I wanted to find a way to articulate the personal, intimate feeling of being completely at ease. Bliss feels like a sigh, a softening of shoulders and a comfort in a moment with someone. Bliss feels like pure, real love.
Born in New Zealand and residing in New York, Alayna has the gift of unique perspective. On top of this, she grew up listening to the great lyricists, such as Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, explaining the lyrical depth of her music. Alayna’s songs aren’t just about falling in love or breaking up, there are many further layers and nuances.
