Tokio Myers Reveals New Track ‘Angel’ & Announces UK Dates For April 2018
Britain’s Got Talent 2017 winner Tokio Myers has unveiled his brand new single Angels, taken from his debut album, Our Generation, set to come out on Syco Music on November 17th. This song is stunning guys! That soulful piano-based melody and the overall cinematic vibe of the track just makes me want to play it over and over again. Stream it below!
The multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer has also announced his first ever UK tour next spring including a must see London show at the Printworks on April 10th. Catch him when he performs ‘Angel’ this Saturday on The X Factor.
Tokio Myers is totally unique. He’s created a sound all his own, fusing an array of musical influences that have shaped him as an artist, ranging from classical and cinematic to hip-hop, dance and 90s’ soul.
Tokio grew up in North London before being awarded a coveted piano scholarship at the Royal College of Music. A stint as a studio musician led to recording and touring with some of the biggest names in music including Amy Winehouse, The Police, Kanye West and Mr Hudson. Now those days are behind him as he steps out on his own to play the following dates on his debut UK tour with his band:
