Rainy Milo releases meditative new single ‘Chakra’
London R&B sensation Rainy Milo has unveiled a brand new TK Kayembe & Daje-produced single Chakra. The track coincides with the announcement of a special one-off headline show at Hollywood’s The Peppermint Club and is an ode to spirituality and self-respect in the face of negative energy.

Loving the 90s vibe emanating from this song, reminiscent of soul icons such as Sade and Neneh Cherry! Rainy's sultry vocals are on point and I also love that funk-laden bassline. The track’s chorus elevates Chakra further, with dramatic synth tones boosting Rainy’s tones into euphoric territory while providing one of her most subtly infectious hooks in recent memory. The song’s throwback atmosphere cements Rainy Milo’s status as one the most timeless voices in modern UK music and beyond, bringing with it shades of modern soul to create a completely original blend of meditative R&B. On the track, Rainy said:
Nothing is more important to me than protecting the light and good energy in my life. Chakra is my ode to letting go of bad energies and people who you know no longer positively serve your mental well being.

Rainy will celebrate the release of Chakra with a special, one-off show at Hollywood’s Peppermint Club on October 6th, presenting tracks from her growing back catalogue, as well as a taste of forthcoming material - adding fuel to the notion that 2018 could well be the biggest year yet for the London-based artist.
