Nick J.D. Hodgson unveils debut single "Suitable"
Nick J.D. Hodgson, known as main songwriter and founder member of Kaiser Chiefs, has unveiled his brand new single Suitable, the first to be taken from his upcoming debut solo album.

Since leaving the band in 2012 Nick has kept busy writing and producing, having hits with Mark Ronson, Hurts, John Newman, Rat Boy and Shirley Bassey. Suitable is a lovely slice of indie, alt/pop music with the perfect amount of psychedelic. Super infectious track guys! Stream it below!

Nick played all the instruments on the track, which he co-produced at home in London with Dave McCracken (Ian Brown/Depeche Mode). Suitable, with its heartfelt, honest and sometimes funny lyrics is influenced equally by Bob Dylan, Tame Impala and ELO. Speaking about the track Nick said,
It's basically about my wife and also my post-Kaiser life, which is much calmer and more serene than it was... I love lush production and dreamy imagery.

Suitable is the first single from Nick J.D. Hodgson’s debut solo album. It's not his first album though. As main songwriter and founder member of Kaiser Chiefs he penned some huge global hits including I Predict A Riot and the number 1 single Ruby.

Nick's live debut will be on December 18th as– support to The Cribs at 'Cribsmas' @ Leeds Brudenell Social Club.
