Leo Stannard
Fresh off the back of his recent collaboration with BRIT Award-nominee, Frances, on the laidback duet Gravity,  21 year-old multi-instrumentalist Leo Stannard has announced his latest project, ‘Leo Stannard & Friends’. The three-track EP of acoustic covers is due for release on September 8th via Black Butter Records. Watch a performance of the first track, a cover of The Weeknd's 'Can't Feel My Face, with Paradisia, below.

Recorded and filmed live at RAK studios, Leo Stannard & Friends is a collection of his most-loved tracks, both past and present, performed with some of his favourite up-and-coming artists - Paradisia, Nathan Ball and Janet Devlin. Leo’s rich vocal and natural musical talent, which allows him to move effortlessly between both guitar and piano, lend themselves perfectly to the stripped-back acoustic arrangements.

Speaking about the EP, Leo says:
I've created a covers EP where I've worked with three different artists on three different songs. The whole thing from rehearsals, to recording and filming, was done in 24 hours so it feels really live and in the moment. None of us had ever met before this day as well so it was a pretty unique experience to make music this way; to meet someone, try and get to know them a bit first and then go straight into making the music. I loved it!
