RAC
Grammy award winning artist RAC —known as André Allen Anjos— has unveiled a brand new song, Unusual, featuring vocals from MNDR. André once again presents us with a stunning piece of electronic music with just the perfect amount of pop! Gorgeous! Check it out below!

Unusual follows the previously released singles The Beautiful Game and I Still Wanna Know, featuring Rivers Cuomo. All tracks are taken from RAC’s highly anticipated new album EGO out tomorrow, July 14th, via Counter Records.

In more exciting news ahead of the album release, RAC recently announced a special collaboration between him, his label Counter Records and Ujo Music who have created a first of its kind custom store where fans will be able to purchase ‘EGO’. The Ujo Music Store will allow artists to sell their work directly to fans using Ether, the currency of the Ethereum network of which Ujo music utilises. As RAC explains:
Despite ending up in a musical career I've always been extremely interested in computer science, decentralization and new tech in general. In light of recent attacks on net neutrality it's more important than ever to maintain an even playing field. I think the Ethereum network will be the backbone of the web3.0 and it has the potential and ambition to pull it off. I'm thrilled to release my album on this network. This is all very early but I want to show that it's possible and pave the way for the future I see ahead.

Born and raised in Portugal, Anjos studied piano and guitar in his teens and played in local bands. He moved to the U.S. to study music business at Greenville College in Illinois before settling in Portland, OR. Anjos founded RAC while in his college dorm and has since gained an audience creating remixes for Lana Del Rey, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Ellie Goulding, Foster the People, Phoenix, Imagine Dragons, Two Door Cinema Club, The Shins and label mates ODESZA, among many others. Anjos received his first Grammy nomination in 2016 for his remix of ODESZA’s Say My Name. He eventually won the Grammy for Best Remixed Recording this year for his remix of Bob Moses' Tearing Me Up.
