Tom Speight Unveils New Single "The River"
Let's slow things down. Time for some Indie/Folk music! London-based artist Tom Speight has unveiled his new single, The River, the first single to be lifted from his upcoming EP, My My My, set to arrive on July 28th! Such a smooth track guys! Beautiful harmonies, loving that guitar and the chillout vibe of the song. Check it out below!

Speaking on the track, Tom says:
I've always wanted to record 'The River' with Chris Bond. I knew that he would capture the mood of the song and layered atmospheric texture of it. The production uses a similar palette as 'Willow Tree' with it's strings, female vocals and double bass. I've got fond memories of recording this track because we would always work on it at night because of its chilled nature. I was lucky enough to have Allie Moss feature on guest vocals, she has such a beautiful tone to her voice. I remember the first time I heard her on the BT TV advert I Shazam’d the song and messaged her on Twitter, asking if she would be up for singing on one of my tracks, thankfully she said yes.

Having released 4 EP’s over the last year. Tom releases another quartet of EP’s in 2017/2018, the first of which ‘Willow Tree’ was released in Jan ‘17. The 2nd EP ‘My My My’’ follows in July, the 3rd and 4th in the Autumn of 2017 and early 2018.

2017 has also seen Tom signed to Kobalt (recording) and Cooking Vinyl (publishing). Radio 2, playlist support continues and Tom has reached an amazing 10m streams on Spotify.

Tom will be supporting Turin Breaks in October and a headline tour in November is also confirmed.
