Bird Unveils new electro-pop single ‘Hurricane’
Following the success of last single Crazy, multi-Instrumentalist and ‘trans-genre’ singer/songwriter Bird has unveiled her new electro-pop single Hurricane, the second track from her forthcoming album Inside Out. The single - set to arrive on August 11th - is decked out with a pumping drum machine, grandiose string passages, whooshing pads and hazy vocal harmonies, all written and performed by Bird. The track builds to a cinematic chorus with her effortless vocals taking center stage, decorated with strings and silky synthesizers. The single comes with mixes from Ash Howes, Tin Tin Out, and Philip Larsen and is reimagined with a string-laden acoustic mix produced by Bird herself.. Stream it below!

Hurricane depicts a fictional affair, Bird describes
it's about two people who are not happy with the relationships they have, wanting something more together but knowing it will create a terrible storm.

Forthcoming album Inside Out, due out later this year, continues the evolution of her previous four albums: each with its unique concept and sound.

Bird characterizes the album as ‘trans-genre’ – “an album of collaborations with artists, musicians and songwriters, each injecting their personality and vibe into the songs”. The outcome is an eclectic collection of music varying from Motown influences to string-led grooves and trip-hop undertones. The album again proves that Bird is not a typical ‘pop’ artist as she straddles the boundaries of genre, hence ‘trans-genre’ feeling like an appropriate description of both artist and album.
