Polar States Release Debut EP "Electric"
Liverpool's up and coming Indie four-piece Polar States have released their debut EP, Electric, recorded, mixed and produced by the band themselves. About the EP the four lads say:
We wanted the first EP to feel home made. We had a lot of songs to pick from and ‘Electric' was the last song that made the pile, it seemed to complete it and had this amazing energy whenever we rehearsed it, hence why it became the title track.
If you're into indie and pop music with that rock vibe than you'll love this EP. My favourite tracks are the title track, Electric, and Gold. I am drawn to the percussion and the guitar riffs of Electric while Gold has a groovier vibe to it and beautiful lyrics. Everything is also a great track, it has a more rock vibe than the other songs and I love how it starts, with beautiful guitar riffs and then a smooth melody before it bursts into an energetic rock track in the chorus. The whole EP is packed with huge melodies, sparkling guitar riffs and smart lyrics. Stream the EP below!
In support of the EP the band will be playing lots of festivals this year including Tramlines, Welcome To The North, Blackthorn Festival and many more.
