OUTLYA release Henry Remix Of "Higher"
Having recently released their second single Higher, OUTLYA have now released a remix of the track by the band's very own Henry. Such a smooth rework guys! Check it out below!
Speaking about the remix, Henry explains
In the band we like to think of OUTLYA as a mythical place of escape and refuge. Lyrically, the song 'Higher' focusses on finding that place within your own imagination. Inspired by those lyrics when approaching the remix, I consciously recorded a few of my own favourite sounds, that I find help transport me to that 'Higher' place. What started as a fun collage of sound quickly evolved into a new arrangement of the song that I was proud of, whilst also giving an alternative perspective of what OUTLYA can mean to an individual.
Higher, produced by Dan Grech-Marguerat (The Vaccines, Scissor Sisters, Radiohead), is a thunderous and euphoric track with a killer chorus.
It's the follow-up to introductory track ‘The Light’, which consists on heavy guitar parts line up alongside chiming keys and bare, effect-starved vocals..”
OUTLYA will be touring extensively in 2017, with a plethora of festival dates starting with Live at Leeds and taking in The Great Escape, Bushstock, Barn on the Farm, Latitude, Standon and Kendal Calling.
