AJR
New York indie-pop trio AJR release a new version of their viral hit Weak featuring British pop star Louisa Johnson. The track comes ahead of their debut album The Click, set to arrive on June 9th through Black Butter Records. The new version is called Weak (Stay Strong Mix) and with Louisa's powerful vocals it sounds even better! Check it out below!

Speaking about the new version of the track, AJR say:
Louisa reached out to us and told us she was a fan of the song. We were familiar with her from the Clean Bandit record and really like her voice. When she asked if we’d be up for creating a version featuring her vocals, we were happy to make it happen. We hope everyone likes it.
Speaking about the collaboration, Louisa Johnson says:
I was massive fan of ‘Weak’ when I first heard it, and now being part of the record excites me so much.
The original version of Weak currently has a staggering 167 million Spotify streams in just a few months, while its Shane Gun-directed video (Taylor Swift, Fall Out Boy, Paramore) has amassed over 4 million YouTube views in just over a month.

AJR began their career busking in Central Park, covering the eclectic range of artists who shaped their youth and love of music, including Vampire Weekend, Kanye West and The Beach Boys. The band got their start by tweeting a link to their self-released debut single to Sia, who immediately fell in love and reached out to them, seeing the potential to have their music heard on a bigger scale than the park bench they were used to. The three-piece went on to release their debut EP ‘I’m Ready’ and quickly amassed a cult following stateside, garnering praise from the likes of Billboard and The New York Post. Having signed to Black Butter Records (Zara Larsson, DJ Khaled, Rudimental) in the UK, AJR’s future as your new favourite pop stars is edging closer.
