Wide Eyed Boy release debut single ‘Wolves’
Liverpool-based four-piece Wide Eyed Boy have released their debut single Wolves – out now. Wow. I am addicted to this song guys! It is an atmospheric indie-rock anthem, with killer guitar and drum works! Featuring vocalist Oliver Nagy’s distinctive vocals it acts as the perfect introduction to this exciting Merseyside collective. Speaking of the track Nagy says,
…it is about letting people in that are bad for you.
Check it out below along with a stunning acoustic version of this track!

Two parts British, one part German, and one part Australian the quartet take their adopted hometown’s heritage seriously, from the internationalist culture of the city, to its inevitable musical lineage.

Nagy, Jonny Ball (guitars), Kobi Pham (guitars) and Tom Taylor (drums) met at McCartney’s Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts, an institution that is carving itself out as a hotbed of new talent. The band bonded over a shared love of Michael Jackson, David Bowie and recent Liverpool alumni The Wombats, The Zutons and Circa Waves.

Recruiting fellow Liverpool resident Rich Turvey (Cabbage, Blossoms, Darlia) on production duties they recently decamped to Budapest to write songs for their eponymously titled debut EP – due later this year.

Catch the band live at the following dates:

March 25th – London, Camden Proud Galleries (Camden Rocks)
April 14th – Liverpool, Studio 2
