The Chainsmokers Unveil New Single "The One"
The Chainsmokers (my favourite EDM duo) have unveiled a brand new song called The One. I adore that piano and how smooth the track is. Drew's vocals are sounding even better in this track! This song makes me feel so warm and look forward for those long summer days! Its quite a personal and emotional track dealing with issues of missing out on moments and experiences with their families and friends.

The One specifically is about two things, in the first verse is just about how much our life has changed recently, how we miss out and skip things as a result of putting this all first, and its just been sort of crazy realizing how deep we are in it now and how life is complicated. We constantly prioritize this life and as a resultwe are missing out on memories and moments with our friends and families, and how we sort of feel like shit about it sometimes (not that we dont know how lucky we are)... The other half deals with the idea of knowing a relationship is just over and isnt working out but being too scared to end it, something we all can relate...
It is track one of their upcoming debut album, Memories... Do Not Open, set to arrive on April 7th! It follows the release of their hit collaboration with Coldplay, Something Just Like This, and Paris. This album is going to be awesome!!
