The Boy Least Likely To Drop New Single "Follow Your Heart Somewhere"
The Boy Least Likely To have unveield their brand new single Follow Your Heart Somewhere, the first single from their forthcoming album set to arrive this Autumn.

Four years on from their last album and twelve years since the release of their seminal debut album The Best Party Ever, The Boy Least Likely To explode back into their hearts of pop fans the world over with their brand new single Follow Your Heart Somewhere.

Loving the dirty fuzzed up guitar riff and that blissful summery C86 indebted soul funk. Strongly influenced by the independent bands of the 1980s, the song brings to mind the post punk playfulness of Altered Images, Haircut 100 and Orange Juice while drawing on the more unlikely influences of Van Halen and Def Leppard. This is sublime and heartfelt pop music with ironically understated and reflective lyrics lending more than a little hint of sadness to this instant indie dancefloor classic. Speaking about the track, the band said: It’s about getting older and coming to terms with the way your life has turned out, the things you wished you’d done but haven’t and the things you wished you hadn’t done but did. It’s about growing apart from someone you’ve been with for a long time and looking back on the way you were when you started out, wondering where it all went wrong and what’s going to happen next.
