Following the release of her highly infectious debut single Call Me Out and her first UK headline show at London’s Camden Assembly (April 18th) selling out instantly, Sarah Close today announces her second UK headline show at London’s Heaven on June 9th.
Call Me Out is a hypnotic, widescreen pop anthem infused with a soaring energy, filtered with Sarah’s poignant vocals that glide and endear. The video, directed by Sarah’s close friends Rubberduck and Rubberneck, follows her through a manor house like a game of tag with the camera, whilst being swept up in the song’s stacked harmonies and twinkling keys.
Explaining the video concept, Sarah says:
We then came up with this concept, i wanted it to be very simple and not have many takes or be super polished. There’s meaning to the song and we wanted to convey that in the music video. This idea of a game of tag and the movement between me and the camera is meant to symbolise a part of the relationship when you don’t know what’s happening.
