Calista Kazuko Premieres "Poison" Music Video
London based singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist, Calista Kazuko has premiered the official music video for her powerful new single Poison. Loving her strong vocals! A cinematic soundscape filled with intensity and drama, the single comes backed with an equally beautiful, but macabre video, which was directed by Silent Tapes Films. Check it out below!

Poison is the first single to be taken from her eagerly awaited new EP on iChi Ni Records on March 17th! The ‘Project: Love Me’ EP was recorded in London at The Smokehouse in Tower Bridge with award winning film composer Guy Dagul and features five brilliant new tracks including the forthcoming lead single ‘Poison’. Dark, twisted yet strangely uplifting, the tracks featured here explore an emotional fantasy that take you on an unexpected journey filled with passion, sophistication and drama.

Growing up in a musical family, Calista began creating and performing her own music while studying classical and jazz piano at the Royal Academy of Music. Inspired by the sound and attitude of the likes of Kate Bush, Regina Spektor, Marina and the Diamonds, Bat for Lashes and St Vincent, she set about crafting her own sound and compositions.  Beautifully bold and aggressive, but with a vulnerable open femininity the music recalls the likes of Siouxsie, Goldfrapp and Diamanda Galas. The tracks featured on the debut EP are without doubt other- worldly; they will both confuse and delight and are all the better for it!
