Hertfordshire's Petrie has unveiled his second single To Swim, out now via Good Groove Records. Speaking on the song, Petrie explained
To Swim is both a series of observations on hedonism and a cautionary tale with an unnerving description of comfort obsessed youth.
I am in love with this song guys! It is a perfect concoction of electronic and alt-pop music! Awesome synth works, and killer bass-driven chorus. The song was co-produced and written with his best mate Better Laurence. As the song builds, Petrie showcases his impressive vocal talents, delivering complicated, but undeniably assured lyrical passes - all with a backdrop of swirling electronics, glitchy percussion work, and crushing guitar runs.
