Swedish electronic pop act CANVAS have unveiled their debut single: You & Me, out now on HMWL / WITH LOVE RECORDINGS. I'm loving the smooth piano chords and the overall melancholic feel!
The track pays homage to the future soul sound of London and L.A. while keeping its roots firmly planted on Swedish soil. Featuring Filip Strand, the gentle and yearning vocals spin a yarn of lost love. CANVAS - are brothers, Andreas and Robin Schulz, with a background in hardcore bands, sneakers and skateboards. Their collaboration is a departure from the US punk rock scene - an electronic and soulful project, with a sense of Scandinavian melancholy spread across every beat.
