By The Rivers wowed a large crowd over the weekend at this year's Glastonbury Festival, with an energetic performance on the BBC Introducing stage that Saturday afternoon. This was their largest exposure till date and they proved to be so memorable that both the BBC and Glastonbury listed the band in their ‘Top Five Future Pyramid Stage Acts’ round up, with the six-piece being the only unsigned band to be included. The list saw BTR wedged alongside established heavyweights such as Foals, Bastille, Jessie Ware and The Strypes. This is what they said about the boys:
Drawing one of the biggest crowds at the BBC Introducing stage this weekend were self-dubbed “new age reggae" group By The Rivers. Keep you eyes on the Leicester boys!
I am extremely happy for them and proud to see them grow and have so many accolades. Their sound is fresh and perfect for festivals and just to be in the same category as heavyweights Foals, Bastille and Jessie Ware is amazing! Check out their performance of Run Home at Glastonbury! I'm just sad I couldn't be there :(
