Introducing: Lea Marie

I was so happy when I went to check out my mailbox and I had Lea Marie's sophomore album in there. This young singer/songwriter from Hollywood will release her sophomore album, Undercover Lover, on May 22nd. I had the big opportunity to check it out before its release and all I can say is that it is a great pop album. Lea describes her music as Ma-Gaga, a mixture between Madonna and Gaga. As other musical influences we can point out Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez and Christina Perry. Take Me For A Ride is the 1st single off this record and is making waves across US radios. It is a cool party-on dance record, up-tempo with a catchy hook. Love it! Undercover Lover, the title track, is the 2nd single. It is not as up-tempo as the 1st one but still is a dance track with a cool beat. Turning Me On is the piano ballad off the record, that showcases her vocal abilities. I must mention that all songs were written by Lea herself which shows us her talent as a songwriter. Undercover Lover will be available on CD Baby, iTunes and Amazon on May 22nd.

Eu tenho a grande oportunidade de o poder ouvir antes do seu lançamento e posso dizer que é um bom álbum pop. Lea descreve a sua música como Ma-Gaga, uma mistura entre Madonna e Lady Gaga. Além destas duas artistas outras influências musicais de Lea são Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez e Christina Perri. Take Me For A Ride é o 1º single deste álbum e está a fazer sucesso nas rádios norte-americanas. É um tema bem dançante com um hook/gancho bem cativante. Undercover Lover é o 2º single, não tão up-tempo mas bem dançante na mesma. Turning Me On é a balada do álbum que demonstra melhor a capacidade vocal de Lea. De salientar que todos estes temas foram escritos por ela!! Undercover Lover sai a 22 de Maio!
